Fall 2024 Workshop Schedule

Writing Center Workshops are open to all CHC students. After each workshop session, workshop materials will be posted under Writing and Research Handouts for students who are unable to attend.

All Writing Center workshops count as Passport Events.
Accommodation requests and/or physical access needs related to a disability should be made prior to the event by contacting Dr. Jaime Longo at longoj@chc.edu.

Using Generative AI Tools Ethically and Appropriately

Join us for an interactive workshop that walks students through a process for deciding when using generative AI tools is ethical and how to use those tools critically, transparently, and appropriately.

Decoding Assignment Expectations

This interactive workshop shares tips and strategies for understanding assignment requirements. We'll practice techniques successful writers us to decode faculty expectations, identify assignment requirements, and prioritize assignment tasks.
